Recorded Filthiness of Abominations

Diva-dom coming to a close

I always thought I'd keep my Paragard until the end of time. I've had Sparky for 6-1/2 years now, making him my longest ever committed relationship! My periods were easy before insertion and have only gotten easier over time (usually about 2 days long with no cramping or any real complaints.) But it seems that our time has come to an end because I recently learned that with the new ACA laws, my insurance will cover Essure at 100% and my gynecologist was more than willing to perform the procedure for me! I go in on December 30th to have my beloved IUD removed and some new little metal buddies inserted.

I still recommend the IUD wholeheartedly for anyone looking for long term birth control, mine gave me more piece of mind than I can begin to tell you and really it was some of the best money I've ever spent. And again, I'd be completely happy keeping it for the rest of my life if it wasn't for the fact that the cost of my Essure will be completely covered! If anyone has any questions, I'm happy to answer them!
